Omnichannel E-com manager


O'Neill Europe is looking for an omnichannel E-com manager.

As an Omnichannel manager you are responsible for maximizing revenue for our online B2C property www.oneill.com and our partner network. You are responsible for managing the overall P&L based on pre set KPI’s. A top priority is to setup a cross functional team that can generate revenue in our different online partner environments such as consignment, marketplaces and wholesale. The omni-channel manager will manage both the B2C team, that currently consists currently of 11 FTE’s including 2 managers, and the newly formed B2B partner team. This role will report to the Commercial Director.




  •  Setup and execute an online partner strategy (commercial and operational) that incorporates Wholesale, consignment and marketplaces.
  •  Setup a team structure to execute the partner strategy
  • Maximize revenue by optimizing current partners and adding new partners.
  • Align seasonal launches and merchandising with the planning team.



  • Manage external agencies that provide services in billable hours and development such as advertising support, webdesign, QA, optimization and web development.
  • Maximize revenue in combination with keeping cost under control ROAS bidding for all paid online marketing activities such as Google AdWords, Bing, Facebook, Affiliate and display.
  • Maximize database growth via customer base marketing and segmented promotions.
  • Create customer loyalty and maximize revenue from our customer database by managing an omnichannel loyalty program and steering on Customer lifetime value.
  • Create a can do culture in which experimenting and A/B testing is the base of progress and make decisions based on actual data.
  • Create and guard the development roadmap and development planning. Make sure project calendar is executed for projects such as strategic projects, new functionalities, datamodel customer marketing, conversion improvement and quality of the product feed.
  • Align Merchandising with other channels to ensure internal alignment with the marketing and retail calendars.



  • Manage, steer and execute the B2b and B2C ecommerce P&L.


Core Tasks


  • Use Seasonal Business cases to steer profitability.
  • Align with the Planning team the selection and stock.
  • Setup Contractual agreements with partners regarding advertising restrictions and marketing participation.
  • Setup a reporting structure to gain insight, steer and adjust the partner business.
  • Setup a localized commercial merchandising routine to maximize revenue and influence returns.
  • Create and execute service teers based on growth and revenue potential.
  • Work with the country managers to grow local partners.
  • Expand the technical setup with an additional channel manager (currently tradebyte).
  • Create strong relationship with online partners.




Online Marketing

  • Develope a strategy for our paid online marketing channels.
  • Execute strategy and optimize results.


Customer Relation Management/Loyalty program

  • Define with the CRM specialist a CRM strategy.
  • Define and execute an omnichannel loyalty program and increase CLV.
  • Analyse clientdata and use this insight to improve results and maximize revenue potential.


Conversion Optimization

  • Responsible for maximizing online conversion on all aspects of the website (payments, returns, PDP’s, listings, category landing pages).
  • Manage an continuous A/B Testing program in cooperation with an external agency.
  • Implement positive conversion optimization outcomes and roll out across all 5 online properties.


Platform Improvements

  • Responsible for our e-commerce platform: setup, performance, maintenance, improvement and development.
  • Responsible for executing development roadmap, both large strategic projects and smaller optimizations.



  • Manage our payment service providers and localize payment solutions to increase conversion.
  • Manage and control return rate by improving the customer experience; shipping/return fees, product descriptions, tooling and logistic carrier options.



  • Manange a multi disciplinary team of online specialists.
  • Facilitate seasonal reviews and regular feedback in a weekly 1-1.
  • Work closely together with Retail, Marketing, Product and Finance.
  • Create team spirit and stimulate cooperation with other internal departments.


Selection criteria

  • Experience managing a P&L
  • Minimum 5-7 year experience in a role as ecommerce manager in  - fashion
  • Minimum HBO
  • Workweek of 40 Hours
