Key Account Manager
40 hours per week

The job

As a Key Account Manager you take complete responsibility over the O’Neill Key Accounts. You are constantly working on relation management, implement the O’Neill objectives and drive growth for the brand. Also you connects all departments to our relations and have full control on all activations. As a Key Account Manager you will report into the Country manager and present half yearly to the board.

As a Key Account Manager you:

  • are responsible for activating and selling in the companies objectives in the key accounts to drive the company into a year round relevant business.
  • present and actively sell the O’Neill products to to the buying managers and work on sales initiatives to maximize our performance.
  • have a clear read on the total KA performance. You deeply connect on all departments such as credit, customers service, logistics, finance and marketing to have a 360 degrees approach.
  • have excellent professional relation management skills to have a clear understanding on the multiple year objectives from our strategic accounts.
  • work with the DMU on future planning and deeper integration of O’Neill.
  • increase visibility in our KA environment. Work closely with the marketing manager on seasonal campaigns as well as temporary solutions that will bring the brand alive in the store.
  • increase out digital interaction with our customers on Omni channel approach. Align our IT department with the needs from the KA’s responsible for generating 3 year Key account planning on all accounts to show the future developments, margin performance, objectives and marketing strategies.

 Who are you?

  • Bachelor degree with minimal 5 years experiences in similar position, preferably within the Sports market.
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Excellent knowledge with Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Strong understanding on company departments such as CS, CR, Marketing and Finance
  • Work requires significant local travel to current and potential clients. This requires the possession of a valid driver license B. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travelwillingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel.

You have the ability to persuade and influence others and the ability to develop and deliver presentations. You have knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.

You are result oriented, take initiative and you have strong organization awareness.
